Josh Trank Fired!
This just in! We have received an email from a very “reputable” source with evidence that Josh Trank is being fired from directing the second Star Wars spin-off! The juicy details after the jump!
This is verbatim from an audio recording of a discussion between Trank and Disney CEO Bob Iger, leading to Iger calling security and throwing Trank out.
IGER – “Come on in Josh, I need to speak with you.”
TRANK – “Sure, what do you need?”
IGER – “Josh, I just got off the phone with your probation officer. He told me that he found cocaine in your hotel room.”
Awkward silence.
IGER – “We’ve talked about this before Josh.”
TRANK – “He’s lying!”
IGER – “Josh please sit back down.”
TRANK – “I’m telling you! That f***ing a****le is lying!”
IGER – “Josh, there is no need for you to curse. If you would please just-“
TRANK – “I didn’t take any drugs! I’m not on any drugs!”
Sounds of things being pushed on the ground. Things shattering.
IGER – “Josh! Calm down!”
Sound of physical confrontation.
TRANK – “Shut the f*** up!”
IGER – “Security!”
Sound of security running into the office.
TRANK – “I’m not on drugs! I’m not on drugs! Those weren’t mine they were my dog’s!”
IGER – “Trank, you’re fired from the Star Wars spin off!”
Trank yelling indistinctly as he trails off.
Sound of things being put back on desk. Iger sighs.
IGER – “Betty! Get Sylvester Stallone on the line, tell him he is going to direct the Star Wars spin-off he’s starring in. And get someone to clean up this mess.”
Recording stops.
So it looks like Sylvester Stallone is going to be taking over Josh Trank’s spin-off. Could it be the Boba Fett-led team of mercenaries’ film previously rumored some months back? Sounds like it! I can’t wait to see Stallone on screen as the mighty Boba Fett!

UPDATE:
We just got this in! Apparently Josh Trank is to blame for Harrison Ford’s and Carrie Fisher’s latest episodes involving drugs and alcohol. Trank got Harrison hammered onset, leading to Ford’s leg injury early in production of The Force Awakens! Lately though, Trank has apparently been pushing cocaine on poor Carrie.
