The X-Files Stars to Join Star Wars Cast? I Want to Believe!
Hot off the heels of Fox’s 6 episode The X-Files revival, we’ve caught wind of something even more unbelievable! Hit the jump to head to Area 51…
The X-Files’ Fox Mulder aka David Duchovny in real life, has signed onto the first Star Wars Spin-off, Rogue One. He will be portraying an Imperial Security Bureau agent tracking down Felicity Jones’ character who has been rumored to be the famous Rogue One. Duchovny will be the film’s main antagonist.
Next up we look at Gillian Anderson aka Dana Scully in The X-Files. She, too, has been cast in a Star Wars film, but not the same one as her partner in alien investigating. Gillian will instead be appearing in Rian Johnson’s Star Wars Episode VIII as none other than… not-Mara Jade! She will, however, be Luke’s wife and Rey’s mother!
Also, since we are talking about The X-Files and Star Wars, Ahmed Best, known for his role as Jar Jar Binks in the Star Wars prequel films, has been cast in The X-Files as an amphibious alien.
