LeBron James Commemorates Championship with Finn Tattoo
OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA — As if scoring the lead role in Space Jam 2 were not enough, LeBron James led the Cleveland Cavaliers to the city’s first major sports championship since 1964. “The King” dominated last night with 27 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists in one of the biggest series comebacks in NBA history. James was voted Finals MVP unanimously, thanks to his game-of-a-lifetime performance.
After celebrating the victory into the wee hours of the night, sources confirm James went to a local 24-hour tattoo parlour. The heavily inked superstar commemorated the historic day by having the new face of Star Wars tattooed onto his abdomen. Finn, played by John Boyega in The Force Awakens, is now officially royalty. The dramatic lifelike portrait can be seen just north of James’ “Finny” belly button.
Apparently “The King” is a huge fan of Boyega’s and has been using a Finn-inspired motto throughout the Championship Series. Chanting “Finn it to win it!” somehow helped the 6’ 8” power forward tap into the Force, and really get underneath the Warriors skin.
Congrats to Cleveland, James, and Finn. You guys were certainly “Finn it to win it.”
