Daisy Ridley: “Rey is Part Hutt.”
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA — After months of speculation regarding the parentage of Rey from The Force Awakens, actress Daisy Ridley may have let the Hutt out of the bag.
Last night on Instagram, the new face of Star Wars posted a bizarre photo of herself covered in what appears to be sweat. She used a number of hashtags for the image, but one has the Internet buzzing with possibilities: #amijabbasdaughter
After careful analysis of Ridley’s social feeds, our experts have deduced an 18% likelihood that she may have been faking. Of course this means there is an 82% chance Ridley was being truthful. In other words, Rey may in fact be the daughter of Jabba the Hutt.
Did Jabba have his way with Leia aboard his sail barge? Is Rey half human Jedi, half Hutt gangster? Did Leia carry the child to spite Han somehow?
