Episode IX Teaser Coming Friday?!
The Star Wars Episode IX trailer is coming very soon! This Friday, December 21st to be exact. Read on for a full description for the trailer! This will be the final first teaser of the sequel trilogy! GET HYPED!!
This is coming from a friend of ours called “Running Man” who works at a company that reviews trailers for movie theaters to make sure they fit MPAA guidelines. A big shout out to you Running Man!
“Trailer is coming Friday. Here’s what little I know about it.
Opens with a shot of Leia approaching a dark robed figure. It might be Kylo, or a different dark side entity. Yoda does a voiceover saying his quote about the path to the dark side (fear, anger, blah blah blah)…
At some point in the trailer we see Poe and Chewbacca piloting the Falcon. They’re buds now. This part has a voiceover from Leia talking about all the things/people they’ve lost along the way. Camera lingers on Chewbacca, who obviously still mourns over Han.
Rey does a voiceover talking about “new hope.”
Kylo enters the screen and approaches an unknown enemy. He ignites a green lightsaber.”
The biggest take away from this for us is that Kylo is using a green lightsber? Could it be Luke’s lightsaber from Return of the Jedi or his own from when he was a padawan in Luke’s Jedi boarding school? What do you think?
