Star Wars: The Force Awakens Spoilers on an OT Character’s Legacy??
Here is another leak coming this time from a fan who asked to be called “Woot.” This involves a character who has passed but is apparently going to appear in the next film in one way or another. More details after the jump and of course beware of the “spoilers.”

I will provide you with one of the best kept secret on TFA. You can publish or not this info, but, know that it will certainly spoil the fun and the surprise to many Star Wars fans. In 1982, during the Alec Guiness shooting (scenes with Mark Hamill) Mr. Lucas secretly shot 3 scenes with Mr. Guiness to be used, eventually in the sequel trilogy.
I had the chance to see them when we worked on the Blu-Ray project a couple of years ago… those were meant to be included in the deleted scenes, but Mr. Lucas asked them to be removed early in the process, I don’t know what was his motives at the time… anyway… One of the scene is now being used and integrated in TFA.
A lot of “cleaning” has been done on the original material and what I’ve seen is really impressive. I don’t know why the info hasn’t been leaked already since pretty much everyone at ILM knows about the existence of these scenes, as were the screenwiters that were informed very early in the process.
The original scene was shot with Mark Hamill, and was always meant to be a scene taking place 30 years later, so it was shot in that spirit, so it made our job a lot easier… I can tell you, it’s pure magic!

Uhmm… wow. I have an inkling that Woot thinks this website is MakingStarWars because this sounds half-way realistic. If it is fake, I’ve been duped! Anyway I decided I’d post it even though it does sound plausible for the reason it also sounds fake. I’ll let you decide!
