Exclusive Interview with Star Wars 7 News’ Viral “Raw” Hide!
We were able to track down the Imperial Guard himself, Viral “Raw” Hide for an exclusive interview regarding the upcoming slapboxing match against Jason “The Beat” Ward of Making Star Wars. See what Raw had to say, after the jump!
Sheevel Knievel: How are you training for the slapfight? What is your strategy?
Viral “Raw” Hide: I kicked my family out of the house and I’m constantly playing Mortal Kombat on my [Play Station].
“Faking” Jacen Solo: How are you getting into shape for this slapfight?
VRH: Strict diet. Eating only rare wild squirrels for breakfast.
FJS: Are you a fan of any particular style of fighting? WWE, UFC, etc.
VRH: Yes, I like gotchi jitsu, where you knock out the opponent without touching him.
FJS: And might we see you take off the helmet if victorious?
VRH: I could, but don’t be surprised if I turn out to be your father.
FSW: Is Viral Hide your birthname? If not, how did you come up with it?
VRH: No. Viral comes from Justin Cronin’s book, The Passage, and Hide is a favorite character from another franchise. They both have second meanings though.
FSW: Please let us know what your entrace song may be.
VRH: I married my wife under the music of The Throne Room rather than Medelssohn, I think it would be pretty epic to hear it again. This time performed by Slave One Direction.
FSW: While the Duel of the Fists is really for the fans, and Jake Lloyd’s income, do you think one day you and Jason can look past your differences and be colleagues once more? Because the Star Wars fan community is a small circle, and when we stick together, no one has to get slapped.
VRH: I’m more than willing to look past our differences right now, but you know how the fans are… if they demand a slapfight, we’d better give them a slapfight.
SK: Last one for the road, will you slapbox dirty in the ring?
VRH: Ha! Never! I intend to have a really good shower beforehand
Viral “Raw” Hide requests you vote for him in the polls and cheer him on using hashtag #ViralSlapFight on Twitter.
