Star Wars Creator, George Lucas Announces 2016 Presidential Bid!
After yesterday’s big news of Hillary Clinton announcing her 2016 presidential bid for the Democrat party, a face only seen around galactic politicians announces his bid as well! Good ol’ Uncle George Lucas has come forward stating he will be running for president in 2016! More on this after the jump.
This may come as a shock to all, but fear not! George is well versed in the political scene! We have all seen the prequel films, successfully establishing the government in the galaxy far, far away. Lucas promises he will, “redeem the Democrat party after all of President Obama’s failures that Hillary will not be able to do” and “push funding for space exploration to find other intelligent life.”‘ Sounds like Lucas wants to find some real Gungans and Wookiees! You also must remember that Lucas will not be the first presidential candidate from Hollywood. Former president Ronald Reagan was indeed a Hollywood actor!
Current President Barack Obama has retracted his statement of supporting Hillary Clinton and will instead back his close friend George Lucas. Obama admits he was a bit hasty in choosing Hillary but is now pushing for Uncle George.
The question you’re probably wondering about now is, who will be his running mate? Well we have the answer for you fakers! It will be none other than prequel producer, Rick McCallum! Lucas was quite clear when he made the choice of McCallum for his potential VP. Although, he did admit his first choice was Harrison Ford but the actor/pilot declined.
Besides President Obama, Oprah Winfrey has come forward announcing her backing of Lucas/McCallum 2016 as well. She urges supporters to tweet out hashtag #Lucas2016 with the tagline, “The Force You Can Believe In.” While this has only been confirmed today, haters are already gathering. An anti-Lucas group, calling itself “The Blue Milk Party,” has formed with numerous cells across the country. Spearheading this campaign is little Annie himself, Jake Lloyd. Lloyd is an outspoken hater of both Lucas and McCallum and he will not stand for them to be running the country he loves so dear.
