MTV2’s Celebrity Deathmatch Revival to Include Star Wars Actors!

Breaking news! MTV2 has ordered a pilot for a revival of the claymation carnage classic, Celebrity Death Match! What better way to kick off the return of the show than by including a character from the most anticipated movie of the year? Hit the jump to get all the details!

Our insiders at MTV2 gave us the official lowdown on the death match details involving not one, but two Star Wars characters. The main event for one of the early episodes will feature none other than the enigmatic, villainous mastermind of The Force Awakens, Cyborg Luke! C.L. with be squaring off in a three-way fight to the death against Hugh Jackman in Wolverine garb controlling the robot from Real Steel and Van Helsing. Think it doesn’t get much better than that? Well, it does.

The Match will have a special celebrity guest referee, Captain Typo! No, that isn’t a typo. Apparently George Lucas put a few landmines in the contract when selling his brand to Disney. One of those landmines appears to be the name “Captain Typho” can no longer be used. Just think of him as the newly appointed Grand Inquisitor of the Intergalactic Grammar Police! His past bodyguard work experience should make him an ideal referee.

The gloves are off folks! This one is gonna be a slobberknocker! LET’S GET IT ON!
