Recap of Days One and Two at Jake Lloyd’s Parking Lot Celebration
Tally-ho! That’s Jake’s new catchphrase as we have heard him say it several times since his arrival in parking lot 94 here in Anaheim, California on Thursday. Let’s go ahead and look back at the eventful happenings that took place Thursday and Friday at Jake Lloyd’s Parking Lot Celebration!
The biggest reveal so far was definitely the announcement of Lloyd’s upcoming film Justice Force Unlimited! Alongside Lloyd, it stars Ahmed Best and Aaron Paul as a trio of time-traveling super cops from the future who insure peace and freedom across the Multi-Verse. Lloyd also announced Emma Stone of The Amazing Spider-Man fame will be taking the lead female role of Lloyd’s love interest from a universe set in a steampunk version of Chicago. Sitting in the director’s chair will be Michael Bay, the visionary who brought mind-blowing visuals to old classics such as the Transformers quadrilogy and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot. Producing is Jake Lloyd himself and none other than Kathleen Kennedy. The film is due to release at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016.
The winner of the N64 Rogue Squadron tourney was our own Comrade J Red. After dozens of single player top score trials, Comrade came out on top beating nationwide champions and Making Star Wars staff member, Jeremy Conrad!
The next bit of excitement came from Thursday. Jake Lloyd announced that he fully supports George Lucas’s bid for presidency and plans to vote for him in the 2016 election. We were then graced, via Google Hangouts, by an appearance for George and he wished Parking Lot Celebration would exist for long time and will prosper.
On Friday, Aaron Paul and Ahmed best unvieled their new music videogame, Gungan Hero! Gungan Hero is a multi-platform videogame that uses unique motion controls to dance to many great Star Wars themed songs such as, Gungan Style by Psy, Wrecking Maul by Miley Cyrus, and Podracer Face by Lady Gaga. The game is set to release in Q1 of 2016 via download only. Motion control apparatus sold seperatly.
The final annoucement from Friday was Jake Lloyd revealing his plans for a new Star Wars animated series set before and after the events of The Phantom Menace. It will be titled Anakin: The Wonder Years and will be a YouTube exculsive. The series will focus on an older Anakin looking back at his life prior to being found my Qui-Gon Jinn. Lloyd did not reveal who would be animating the series but implied that the minds being cartoons such as Gravity Falls and The Misadventures of Flap Jack are interested in the project.
