Leaked Audio Debunked! We Were Faked By Real Geniuses!

3

Earlier this week we posted a link to an audio file which a source led us to believe contained dialogue from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The clip was said to feature an exchange between the characters Uber and Kylo Ren. Although it sounded real, a good friend of ours — the reigning Star Wars Slap Fighting Champion of the world, Mr. Viral Hide of Star Wars 7 News — let us in on a secret: the clip is fake with a capital EF! This revelation sparked a witch hunt for the culprits who seemingly outfaked the Faking crew, and you won’t believe who was involved in the conspiracy. Keep reading to see who was behind the fakening.

Recently TIME magazine held a gala in New York City for their TIME’s 100 most influential people in the world issue . Some of the most creative and flamboyant minds graced the room at the event, including an unlikely trio of gentlemen who seemed to be magnetically attracted to one another. Kanye West, Elon Musk and the man himself, George Lucas were seen deep in conversation at a table near the back of Lincoln Center for most of the night. They seemed to be conjuring up some type of new project and we just got confirmation from one of our sources on exactly what that project is.

Lucas has decided to take on a disinformation campaign for The Force Awakens himself. We can’t be sure what all Lucas has planed for this venture but our source confirmed with that he was absolutely responsible for the recent audio exchange involving Kylo Ren and Uber. Apparently Kanye West was asked by Lucas to play the role of Uber to which he replied “Yo JJ, I’m really happy for you…I’ll let you finish. But George you had one of the best videos of all time! One of the best videos of all time!”. Lucas knew that during one of Elon Musk’s early experiments with electricity he was involved in a vocal cord-altering electric shock incident. This alteration in Musk’s pipes did not effect his normal voice tone but it allowed him to hit deep, creepy low registers making him perfect for the Kylo Ren voice heard on the audio.

Kanye invited the group over to his home studio where the audio was recorded and mixed by the Yeezus himself. When Kanye was asked about the inspiration for his Uber voice he described it as “Dark synergy with sweet and sawa sawce!”. The lines were supplied by George Lucas and apparently the dialogue is actually from Episode VII…from a certain point of view. George found the scripts he sold to Disney in the dumpster behind Bad Robot Studios a few months ago and decided to use the material for his new disinformation project. Elon Musk was also responsible for leaking the information on Reddit which caused the Lucas induced fakening to begin!

Stay tuned to Fakingstarwars.net as we follow the fakening trail down the rabbit hole!
