John Boyega to Star in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off Remake!!
This just in fakers!! Jacen’s cousin, who just happens to be Matthew Broderick’s chauffeur, let us in on this tid-bit of info! Star Wars: The Force Awakens star John Boyega is set to play the lead role in the remake of the cult classic film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off! More details after the jump!
In this new updated version of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Boyega will be taking the title role as the popular kid/slacker. Matthew Broderick himself chose Boyega as a successor to the Bueller name. No, he’s not the original Ferris’s son, as this is a remake but Broderick will appear as a secret cameo.
We reached out to Boyega for a comment but he said he is under a NDA and cannot share anything about the film other than that he is “super excited about the film and having the opportunity to drive a Ferrari.”
