George Lucas Sent D23 Mikey Mouse Actor to Emergency Room!
After receiving this years Disney’s Legends Award at this years D23 Expo on Saturday, George Lucas slipped and fell backstage, sending none other than the House of Mouse’s main man, Mickey Mouse, to the hospital! More details after the jump.
The Disney execs tried to keep this hush hush as it is just as embarrassing to Disney as a company as it is to Mr. Lucas himself. Jacen’s cousin Pedro, who was volunteering as a stage hand, witnessed the fall and explained it like this.
Uncle George tripped on the bottom step, his Legends Award went flying through the air, hit Mickey in the back of the head, knocking the performer out cold. As people rushed to his aide, they were left in shock as they removed the mouse head only to find that the injury was far more severe than first thought as blood started gushing everywhere.
The actor, whose name we have removed to protect his identity, was rushed to the hospital via an ambulance and was listed in critical condition due to blunt force trauma to the head. Reports from bystanders say that Mr. Lucas was heard saying, “This is not the first time I’ve killed a movie icon and ruined a film franchise.”
As of this morning we’ve been given the okay to announce the performer is at home recovering after receiving several hundred stitches. Fortunately, he will be fit to return to his mouse-y duty after 2 weeks of bedrest.
