Michael Strahan To Tackle Episode VIII Role?
TIMES SQUARE, NY — Shortly after announcing his departure from Live! With Kelly and Michael to appear exclusively on Good Morning America, Michael Strahan is now saying he NEEDS to be in Star Wars: Episode VIII. During his first day at GMA, Strahan would not stop talking about how popular The Force Awakens break-out star John Boyega has become. It has become painfully obvious to his co-hosts that the affable, gap-toothed former NFL star would like to become equally famous and Force-sensitive.
“Yeah I can act. You see me in Magic Mike Extra Extra Large? I was damn good in it! No reason I couldn’t be in Star Wars 8 as, I don’t know, Finn’s brother or Lando’s son.”
Strahan is lobbying hard for a role in the upcoming film. For the past few years the larger-than-life star has made it known that he’s an avid “Star Warrior” as he puts it, but now Strahan is being even more overt about his passion for the saga. Several GMA staffers have already grown tired of Strahan’s obsession, specifically his non-stop complaints about not yet receiving a call from Episode VIII director Rian Johnson.
“Please just give [Strahan] a spot in the movie already,” a make-up artist was quoted. “He’s been here for two days now and it’s all we’ve heard about! Someone tell that Jay Abraham guy to call Mike already!”
