Tom Hardy Comes Out as First Transtrooper
POTTS HILL, NEW SOUTH WALES — Reports have flooded the FakingStarWars offices stating that Mad Max himself, Tom Hardy, has scored a brief cameo in Star Wars Episode VIII as a First Order stormtrooper. Jacen contacted his cousin Roper Dundee, who lives in the Outback, to go snooping around to figure out what on Jakku Hardy is doing as a stormtrooper.
According to our cousin site, MakingStarWars.net, Hardy is playing stormtrooper FN-2269 who recognizes John Boyega’s Finn as FN-2187 but not as a TRAITOR, rather a spy for the First Order who infiltrated the Resistance! It seems that only a few people within the First Order know of FN-2187’s betrayal. The report coming from MSW states that FN-2269 goes on to slap Finn on the butt before departing on his merry way.
Roper has found out through various sources that FN-2269 is part of an elite squad of transgender stormtroopers known as transtroopers. He/she was very “close” to FN-2187 when they were stationed on Starkiller Base as sanitation workers. This may indicate that Finn is bi-curious, and provides hope for Finn x Poe shippers. Does Finn still have feelings for FN-2269 or did he leave them behind when he left the First Order? We assume more about Finn’s past will be brought to light in Episode VIII. As far as Tom Hardy goes, we won’t even see his face in the film, Roper has told us, but we will hear his voice.
