Bob Iger Has Seen All Four Rogue Ones: A Star Wars Stories

LOS ANGELES – During an interview this week, Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed that he has seen Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.  Iger had an overwhelming positive impression despite news reports that claimed reshoots had significantly hindered Gareth Edwards’ spinoff film. The Disney chief claims every version of the film is memorable and hits all the right notes. Iger also clarified that the reshoots weren’t reshoots at all. They were merely an expansion of the filming.

You may be wondering what Iger means by “every version.” We were, too, but the following quote helped clarify things.

I’ve seen The Rogue Ones. Gareth chopped and flipped this b*$%h up like DJ Mustard!” Iger revealed. “I’ve seen not only 4 edited pictures but I’ve seen significantly more Star Wars content than what has produced in the last 15 years!

We really gave a shout out to the PT fans in version two while version one is much more OT. We went back and shot 40% of the movie with an all female cast for version three and version four is a musical. We will be releasing each version simultaneously and each version will have its own merchandise.”

Iger’s revelation would explain why Disney claimed some of the names were different in the visual story guide that recently leaked. Apparently the information in that guide is only applicable for version one of the film.

Ever since the initial story of the Rogue One reshoots broke, there have been numerous conflicting reports that stem from one highly accountable blog with questionable veracity. The rumors that Disney executives were unhappy with Edwards’ dark were clearly just a misinterpretation of Disney’s pre-planned expansive and innovative artistic expression. We have never seen something like this before and it may go over well with the fans considering if they don’t like one of the Rogue Ones they might like another.

When pressed about whether fans should be worried about the much-publicized reshoots, Iger added:

“I won’t have anyone belly aching about Rogue One being too this or that. This was the only way.”
