George Lucas Joins Forces With Pharrell Williams On Mystery Project

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA — Last night, singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams posted a selfie of himself and the maker George Lucas on his Instagram account. While some have passed this off as Williams snapping a photo with one of his favorite filmmakers, we believe otherwise.

Jacen’s cousin Jorge works as a pool boy at Pharrell’s Laurel Canyon home and told us that Lucas has been a frequent visitor at the super producer’s estate over the past few weeks. While Jorge has yet to meet Lucas face-to-face he did eavesdrop on the pair this morning, while they had a meeting over brunch.

YES… yes… #GEORGELUCAS

According to Jorge, Lucas and Williams are planning a film together that will apparently be based on “The Maker’s” original story treatments for the Star Wars sequel trilogy, which went unused by Disney. Lucas felt the story was great and was upset Disney did not use it so he is now rewriting the treatment into a new sci-fi franchise that will star Pharrell and be produced by his new production company.

Jorge was not able to get specifics about the project’s story but Lucas’s enthusiasm told Jorge that we should all BE HAPPY about what’s to come from the master filmmaker and Pharrell.
