Disney Fires Carrie Fisher from Episode IX Over Carrison Admission
HOLLYWOOD, CA — After years of Star Wars fans shipping them to death, Carrie Fisher has revealed that she and costar Harrison Ford did indeed have a torrid affair during the filming of Episode IV: A New Hope. Sadly for Fisher, Disney is not fond of her kissing and telling.
In fact, insiders report the wild card who played Princess Leia in the film series along with her mischievous dog Gary have been let go from Episode IX effective immediately.
FSW spies claim Ford was so upset with Fisher’s admission in her forthcoming book The Princess Diarist, he immediately contacted Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy.
Han Solo may be dead, but he’s returning fire from beyond the grave.
Apparently Ford demanded that Fisher be removed from any future Star Wars production. Given Ford is in the middle of pre-production for a forthcoming Indiana Jones sequel for Disney, he still wields considerable influence at the studio.
We’re told Kennedy and Disney chief Bob Iger quickly agreed to appease Ford. As a result, Fisher will be written out of Episode IX and Princess Leia’s fate will be told via a combination of opening crawl as well as several cross media projects including a comic book series and a VR experience at Star Wars Land.
As for whether or not the Carrison affair is even true… the jury is still out.
While Fisher is not above stretching the truth to push a book or “misremembering” things due to her well documented battle with substance abuse, FSW exercised due diligence and reached out to both camps. Ford and Fisher were equally unavailable, but we plan on reaching out to Gary Fisher on Instagram shortly.
