Millie Bobby Brown to Cameo as Young Leia in Han Solo Film?
Hot on the heels of being added to the Godzilla sequel, Millie Bobby Brown may be set for an even bigger film role. FSW has learned that the Stranger Things breakout star is in talks with Disney Lucasfilm to play young Princess Leia.
Sources claim Leia has a brief cameo in the upcoming young Han Solo solo film, but ultimately her “Worshipfulness” will star in her own Star Wars Story, potentially even a trilogy of her own.
While 12-year old Brown may seem an odd choice to portray young Leia, especially opposite 27-year old Alden Ehrenreich, their age difference is actually very close to the gap between the original actors; Harrison Ford was 14 years older than the late, great Carrie Fisher.
It’s also helpful to point out that Brown is hitting puberty and will likely appear more teen than tween by the time cameras roll on the young Leia spinoff.
We hear Disney Lucasfilm is very close to signing the actress to a multi-picture deal, but her parents have introduced several new demands that have yet to be agreed to. Let’s hope the negotiations continue as we can’t think of anyone else who could do young Leia justice.
