Constable Zuvio Gets Expanded Role in The Last Jedi, Launching Concert Tour
San Francisco, CA — Lucasfilm has revealed that Constable Zuvio, a fan-favorite character from The Force Awakens, is returning for The Last Jedi in a more prominent role for director Rian Johnson. According to a spokesperson, Zuvio will be doubling his on-screen time to a full 8 frames of action. Awesome, right? Wait, it gets even better. Zuvio is going to be featured in a sequence of hardcore rhythm action that utilizes a new form of audio/video technology.
Apparently the Nima Outpost lawman is well versed in hip-hop, and will be seen spitting a set of rapid-fire verses when Finn returns to Jakku for some unspecified reason. The Lucasfilm spokesperson also mentioned there are plans for Zuvio (who records intergalactic trap music under the stage name Lil Zuvi Vert) to take his band, including hypeman Teedo, on the road in 2018. The Droids in the Trap Tour is rumored to kick off at next year’s Poechella concert series.
We can’t wait to finally see and hear more of Constable Zuvio/Lil Zuvi Vert when The Last Jedi opens in December!
