Prequel Meme Creator Upvotes a Repost of His OC
FRANKLIN TOWN, NEW JERSEY — In an effort to take the high ground, Star Wars Prequel meme maker D. Russell Grant, Reddit username SonOfBinks, has upvoted a repost of an original creation he spent hours creating in MSpaint. Grant had this to say to the FSW New Jersey office.
“I spent five consecutive hours working on that dank meme! Have you ever tried proper photo editing in MSpaint? It’s a pain in my grandma’s butt. I was proud of my OC but when I saw it reposted, it was a surprise to be sure but a welcome one! When someone reposts your OC in r/prequelmemes, you know you did good.”
Reddit user DarthReposti was the reposter in question. He shamelessly uploaded the meme Grant created after digging through several pages on r/prequelmemes. DarthReposti saw the hilarious image macro only got a measly nine upvotes so he uploaded it at a time he knew was more active. DarthReposti’s post wound up getting well over 1.4k upvotes.
“It’s ironic. I got almost ten upvotes and the same image posted a week later got over a thousand. Like I said, I’m very proud my OC got that much attention even if the reposter got all the karma and Reddit gold.”
