Max Rebo Changes Name to Brother Love

For his 48th birthday, Max Rebo decided to gift himself a new name. His Twitter handle is still @MaxRebo, but the rapper and musician does not want you to call him that anymore.

Instead, Rebo will now go by “Love” or “Brother Love.” On Saturday, Rebo made his announcement and acknowledged in a tweet posted to Twitter that the names might seem silly to some people.

Rebo, who celebrated his birthday on a tropical vacation to Scariff with friends and family, had this to say;

“I have some very serious news. I’ve been praying on this and I knew it was risky, ’cause it could come off as corny to some people. I decided to change my name again… I’m just not who I am before. I’m something different. So my new name is Love a.k.a. Brother Love. I will not be answering to Max, Rebo, Max Rebo, or any of my other monikers but Love or Brother Love.”

Rebo started his career as Rebo, and later changed his name to Max Diddy, then Diddy, then back to his full birth name.
