Luke Skywalker’s Use Of The Word “Unfindable” Sparks Outrage
AHCH-TO — Luke Skywalker, the self-exiled Jedi Master and son of Anakin Skywalker, is facing mounting criticism over the use of a word some might describe as unnatural. In a heated exchange with potential padawan, the scavenger Rey of Jakku, Skywalker was overheard describing his remote island getaway as “the most unfindable place in the galaxy.” The Jedi’s casual use of an archaic word struck academic circles as pretentious at best and borderline sexist at worst. “This is a Jedi of the highest order. One would think he’d have a slightly better command of the Galactic Basic language than some commoner,” said New Republic scholar Professor Rudrick Tachyon.
Attacks on Skywalker’s word choice have come from both sides of the political aisle. “I’m all for mysticism and lore but the word ‘unfindable’ is simply ridiculous. For one, it’s older than Snoke. But worst of all, the sentiment is baseless, since Rey clearly found Luke,” said Resistance Major Taslin Brance.
We reached out to Skywalker for comment on this story but he proved unfindable at the time of publication. As always, stay tuned to FakingStarWars.net for all the Star Wars news worth faking.
