The Last Troll: Disney Warns Hamill About Faking Out Fans
Master troll Mark Hamill has toyed with fans on social media for years now, but his last fake out may have gone a step too far. The Last Jedi actor’s most recent gag has drawn the ire of his superfans, the self-dubbed Hamsters, who have been endlessly tweeting their disapproval at him, even going so far as to write letters to Disney requesting disciplinary action for the actor if his bad boy behavior continues.
Hamill’s latest troll occurred upon his arrival at JFK Airport on Monday November 27th. The experienced jokester was wearing a straitjacket, while being escorted by a group of doctors and armed guards. As it turns out, Hamill had hired the crew to pose as doctors and guards, and only wore the straitjacket to avoid having to sign autographs for fans.
Since receiving countless letters from trolled fans regarding Hamill’s latest stunt, Disney has addressed him in an official company memo. An inside source was able to write it down and send it to us at Faking HQ.
Here’s what it said:
“Mark, you need to stop faking; the wheelchair gag was the last straw. It’s creating negative fan press and we don’t want that in the lead up to The Last Jedi. You can no longer be a troll so CUT IT OUT!”
Hamill has since apologized for the wheelchair incident but in true Hamill fashion, continues to troll via social media. And we here at Faking Star Wars don’t expect him to stop. After all, The Last Jedi is destined to always get the last laugh.
