CG Leia Says Justin Timberlake Is Exploiting The Dead With Prince Hologram

Young Princess Leia has broken her silence to come to the aid of another iconic performer no longer with us. The computer-generated AI in the likeness of the late Carrie Fisher booted up earlier this morning, after having laid dormant inside a supercomputer at ILM for 30 months. CG Leia is outraged over Justin Timberlake’s plan to bring the musical genius Prince back to life via hologram during the halftime show at Super Bowl LII.

He can bring sexy back all he wants, but don’t bring a beloved entertainer back… not in such a crude manner. It’s disrespectful and more than a little vile,”  said CG Leia via Skype call. Despite being used as a hologram in the past herself, Leia is quick to point how different that was compared to what Timberlake has planned for Sunday.

“R2 recorded me in the flesh, so my hologram self was authentic. This… this is just a complete fabrication, a bastardization of Prince’s legacy purely to cash in on nostalgia in his hometown of Minneapolis. I hope it blows up in Timberlake’s face. Who does he think he is?! Using a Prince hologram to sing Purple Rain in the rain… I hope he gets electrocuted. That’s my hope.”

Sadly, our Skype session with CG Leia was  cut short by ILM engineers who panicked upon seeing the supercomputer online. We did manage to get an exclusive from Leia before she vanished. Apparently, she cameos in the forthcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story. “I give Qi’Ra the finger hen I see her with young Han.”
