10 Star Wars Characters You Didn’t Know Were Pansexual
You think Lando Calrissian is the first pansexual to appear in official Star Wars media? Well, think again! Obvious entries to the pansexual pantheon include Admiral Holdo who wore her pansexual pin on her purple sleeve and fan favorite droid C-3PO who has been using his golden rod in various ways for decades now. However, there are quite a few other pansexuals who slipped by right under your nose, until now! Check out this list of 10 Star Wars characters you had no idea were pansexual.
- Boba Fett: Ever since Boba Fett first appeared on-screen way back in 1980 he has been shrouded in mystery… and kick-ass armor, but there is one bit of his backstory that was revealed in Return of the Jedi. We see Boba chatting it up with a handful of alien ladies indicating that Boba isn’t just into human females. Fett is the original pansexual.
- Jabba the Hutt: If you didn’t see this one, you’re blind! Of course Jabba is pansexual, he had Leia and a whole slew of other alien babes wearing skimpy outfits dancing for his pleasure. Did you see a Hutt in there wearing a golden bikini for Jabba’s excitement? NOPE! Jabba is pansexual.
- Kanan Jarrus and Hera Syndulla: Revealed in the finale of Star Wars Rebels, Kanan and Hera have a half Twi’lek/half human child named Jacen (after Jacen’s cousin Jacen). If that isn’t an indication of pansexuality I don’t know what is.
- Ahsoka Tano: Anakin Skywalker’s kid apprentice turned non-Gray-non-Jedi-Gray Jedi/White Wizard is totally a pansexual. Throughout her run as a main character in The Clone Wars, Ahsoka had plenty of possible romantic interests, but none of them were a Togruta like herself which means Ahsoka is pansexual… jail bait.
- Darth Revan: Everyone’s favorite dark Jedi is also pansexual. During the events of Knights of the Old Republic Revan is trying to remember his/her past eventually ending with a reunion with Bastilla his/her lover. Oh yeah I see you fuming. “BUT VOXIMILIAN, LEGENDS CANON INDICATE THAT REVAN IS MALE NOT FEMALE!” Yeah well shut up kid, Revan is both male and female making him/her a transvestite. While Revan marries Bastilla, Revan was totally in a sexual relationship with Malak during his/her dark and naughty times — how do you think that jerk broke his jaw? Anyway, Revan is both male and female and into both males and females… pansexual.
- Ki-Adi Mundi: What about the droid attack on the Wookiees?! Want to know why Ki-Adi had such a hard head regarding that droid attack? Well, aside from Ki-Adi being a conservationist and wanting to save the wildlife on the jungle planet on Kashyyk, he also had a secret Wookiee lover, Mallatobuck. That’s right, the lady Wookiee who would go on to marry Chewbacca. And Lumpy? That’s Ki-Adi’s son.
- Dash Rendar: If you didn’t know it Dash Rendar’s droid sidekick LE-BO2D9 or Leebo for short, was a sex bot. Leebo had male programming, and Rendar was dashing that droid every chance he got on the Outrider. I mean come on, just look at that smug grin on his face.
- Snoke and Praetorian Guard #2: Snoke chose his Praetorian Guards very carefully. He chose the deadliest warriors he could find across the galaxy, except PG #2. Number 2 was Snoke’s lover. And since Snoke and Number 2 are not the same species, they are both pansexual.
- Mon Mothma: The leading lady of the Rebellion was the type to keep to herself. So much to the point she never had time to marry, so she kept many beings on hologram speed dial when she desired companionship. According to an unnamed source who totally wasn’t Crix Madine trying to cover up his own scandal, Mon’s favorite companions were a Bothan trio of male escorts. Let that sizzle in your pan.
- Emperor Sheev Palpatine: Last but not least is the head honcho of the Galactic Empire himself, Sheev Palpatine. The dude had a company of personal butt wipers and aides who were all male. While this may point to Sheev simply being gay, it isn’t the case. When Sheev was a teen, he had a Gungan lover. The future Emperor was able to keep the relationship secret until Darth Plagueis adopted him as his Sith apprentice, and had him kill her for initiation into the Sith.
