The breakout star of Solo: A Star Wars Story is getting her own spinoff — and we guarantee people are going to be seeing red! The teenage leader of the Cloud-Riders gang made quite an impact in her debut, and Lucasfilm is hoping to ride that momentum into box office success.

We’re told the untitled film’s budget will be kept under $100 million, as Lucasfilm has received some heat for the underperforming Solo, which came in so over budget, it now holds the record for Most Expensive Star Wars Film Ever Made.

Apparently, the Enfys spinoff will set the foundation for a series of female-centric films that provide the backstory for the formation of the Rebellion seen in Episode IV. Kathleen Kennedy is in talks with several female filmmakers to write and direct these smaller, more story driven spinoffs.

Erin Kellyman is set to return as Enfys Nest

Not much else is known at this point, although our sources have confirmed that 19-year old Erin Kellyman will be donning the battle helmet once again as the Robin Hood like Enfys. We also got a peek at some initial casting specs, and the search is on for freckled red heads of all genders, shapes and colors. Experts speculate we may even see Nest’s home planet, which is similar to Cloud City on Bespin, but made up entirely of a ginger population.

Interestingly the casting call included this photo of the Weasley family from the Harry Potter film series. Even more interesting, the photo does not include Bill Weasley whose actor also performed in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi as General Hux. Could this mean that Hux is related to Enfys?

We’ll leave you with one last tantalizing rumor which our source let slip: the Enfys spinoff will feature a cameo by a young Mon Mothma (also a ginger) who will return in a Leia film to star Millie Bobby Brown of Stranger Things fame.

Smaller budgets, greater diversity and more intimate storytelling by female filmmakers? These new spinoffs may in fact be our only hope.
