Corellia Man Arrested For Smuggling Fireworks From Tatooine

CORONET CITY, CORELLIA — 23-year old human male Marcus Dubois was arrested by Imperial Police on July 4th for bringing contraband fireworks to Corellia. Customs officials found several pallets and boxes of fireworks stacked to the ceiling in the cargo hold of Dubois’ custom YT-1000 light freighter.

Dubois claimed he must have been given the shipment of fireworks by mistake and he had never been to Tatooine. When Imperial Police checked Dubois’ home in Coronet City, they found even more fireworks, some even professional grade.

As it turns out, Dubois was selling the fireworks out of his home which was set up to look like an actual fireworks store, like the ones found on Tatooine where the selling and setting off of fireworks is legal.

Ultimately, Dubois was charged by Imperial Police with a felony possession of fireworks.
