EA Charging Arm And Leg For Dooku Head Removals
Head’s up, Dooku fans — while modders may have removed Count Dooku’s head in Battlefront II, players with non-modded consoles now have an option, courtesy of EA.
“We think everyone should be able to experience Count Dooku without his head, so for a limited time we’re offering access to the headless version for $66.66 a month. Our team of programmers are going the extra mile to remove a few lines of code in order for fans to join the fun of playing as a headless old man,” said head of EA, Andrew Wilson.
Of course, this being EA, the move isn’t without controversy. The late Christopher Lee’s family is up in arms over the “digital mutilation” of their loved one’s likeness. Sadly, according to FSW legal counsel, EA is well within their rights to digitally decapitate or dismember Dooku however they see fit.
What do you think? Is a headless Count Dooku worth the cute $66.66 price tag? Tell us in the comments or in social.
