Bingo Card Reveals Episode IX Outfits, Confuses Grandma

SHADY PINES, MA — 86-year Old Gladys Shill was the talk of the town at the at the Golden Living Rec Center, thanks to a bingo card that revealed major Star Wars spoilers.

“Instead of letters and numbers in the quadrants, I had aliens and strange looking young people,” said Shill.

Her discovery caused a big disruption in Friday night’s heated bingo game.

“We couldn’t make heads or tails of it. Good thing Terry called her son,” added Shill.

Once the group of retirees understood what the grandmother of 12 was dealt, they decided to turn bingo night into Star Wars night.

Shill’s bingo card revealed Episode IX spoilers

“It was so fun. We made copies of my bingo card with the new creatures and played bingo watching the original Star Wars with it. First one to spot aliens or young people who looked like what was on my card got to yell and place a marker down. Fill the card and you would win. It was wonderful, and the snack mix was delightful. I had forgotten how much I enjoy George Lucas movies. That Lando still gets me excited.”

Shill’s bingo card contained the first look at a number of charcter’s outfits in Episode IX. More importantly, however, it unlocked a night of comfy nostalgia for the Shady Pines Retirement Home.
