Casual Star Wars Fan Has No Idea Who Palpatine Is
ELMFORD, PA — Star Wars fans around the globe have been rejoicing since the premiere of the first look at the final film of the Skywalker saga, The Rise of Skywalker. While the end of the teaser trailer was a welcome surprise for millions, there is a fan who had no idea who was responsible for the bone-chilling Sith cackle in question. When it was explained to him that it was Emperor Sheev Palpatine aka Darth Sidious, the main villain of Episodes I through VI, this fan still did not know who Palpatine was.
Lenny “Raz0r_F0x” Harvey, a 20-year-old semi-professional Fortnite player, reacted live to the teaser trailer on his Twitch stream Friday afternoon per a request with a hefty $66 donation to his Paypal account. When the trailer ended, and Harvey’s blank face turned to a smug smile, he gave his thoughts.
“Okay so, I saw The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and Solo. I recognized the guy with the headset was Childish Gambino’s character but old now and the rest of the characters were in the other two movies. But where was that laugh from? Was it an ancient fear? Some old lore from an extended legends novel?
They should really make these movies accessible because from all the Star Wars movies I’ve watched, I have never heard that laugh. The girl is hot though and that Latino guy looks cool. I’ll probably watch it.”

Harvey reportedly lost 412 subscribers as a small majority of his fan base was made up of Reddit’s r/PrequelMemes community due to members believing Harvey looks like Boba Fett actor, Daniel Logan.
“Yeah, I un-sub’d from Raz0r_F0x on Twitch and blocked him on Twitter. Dude doesn’t even know who the Senate is. He is a fake Star Wars fan.”
