Redditor Claims “Cats” Is Actually The Worst Star Wars Movie Of All Time
The claws came out on Reddit earlier today when a user named KlaudHaveMercy posted a super hot take, proclaiming the new musical Cats the worst Star Wars movie of all time.
“First of all, it’s not a Star Wars movie, so that automagically makes it the worst one. But beyond that, the Jellicles have to select a ‘chosen one’ to bring balance to their world. This magical pussy goes to Heaviside Layer and is reborn as the cat world’s savior. Clearly a rip off of The Phantom Menace. Not to mention how much of it was shot using green screen… which went too far in places. The music also sounds nothing like John Williams or even the Swedish guy who does The Mandalorian.”

KlaudHaveMercy’s post was the spark that lit the fire that threatened to burn all of Reddit down as a war quickly broke out between theater nerds and Star Wars geeks.
Reddit users CatsMeow4U, JJsCat, and WhatsNewPussycat led the charge with sharply worded replies and calls to cancel KlaudHaveMercy for their terrible opinion. Here’s just a small excerpt:
“Cats is a musical that has nothing to do with Star Wars. You must be trolling, especially with that user name. Just because The Rise of Skywalker is a hot mess doesn’t give you the right to punch down on our must-watch movie of the holiday season. Cats wipes the floor with your space wizards movie. Please stay in your lane.”

After a record 12,000 downvotes on his initial post, KlaudHaveMercy was shadowbanned by Reddit moderators for continuing to berate his Cats-loving detractors. In his last public post, he promised to go watch the musical this weekend.
“I’m going to suffer through the worst Star Wars movie of all time only to strengthen my case on why Cats sucks as a musical, and it’s even worse as a Star Wars movie going by a different name.”
