Exclusive: Lucasfilm Changing Name to Fanservicefilm
In case The Mandalorian wasn’t proof enough, FSW has gained an exclusive memo that cements Lucasfilm’s plan to make fan service the foundation of all its future projects.
“We’re no longer in the business of showing fans things they’ve never imagined. From this day forward, we’re committing all of our resources into bringing them exactly what they want. Star Wars fans, in particular, have 40 years of batshit insane theories and terribly written books to pull from. It’s time to stop wasting intellectual firepower on dreck that’s just as bad if not worse than what the fans have already dreamed up Fanservicefilm will be in service of fans and our bottom line. Because if there’s one thing I know, it’s that idiots will buy more crap if it’s crap based on their own turd burgers,” said Fanservicefilm president Kathleen Kennedy.
