Gina Carano Gets Betty Boop And Hanson Canceled
The mass media and Twitter mob’s coordinated cancelation of Gina Carano has expanded to include anyone who identifies as “boop”, “bop” or “beep”. As of this writing, two icons have already become collateral damage.
Since early Thursday, cartoon icon Betty Boop has been dragged on Twitter for being an outspoken Boop. Activists have resurfaced the character’s checkered history, which involves the whitewashing of her original Black incarnation.
“Boops have no place in 2021, so I’m happy to see another transphobic, misogynistic icon get called out. Getting her fired, ruining her life and spreading hate for this abhorrent monster… I’m here for all of it. Put some f*%@ing clothes on, you hussy,” tweeted Boop rival, Olive Oyl.
Paramount Studios quickly buckled under pressure and shelved the all-new Betty Boop cartoon that was set to debut in March on Paramount Network.
Also in the crosshairs of wokists and Carano haters is legendary boy band Hanson. The trio has come under fire for it’s anthem MMMBop.
“Miss me with that Proud Boys dog whistle, Hanson,” said fellow white 90s icon, Aaron Carter, during a break from training for his upcoming fight against Lamar Odom. “MMMBop is an insult to trans people everywhere and as an ally of the community, I’m proud to lead the Hanson is canceled party.”
Hanson has yet to comment on their on-going cancelation, but rumors are swirling the group is scrambling to record a new version, scrubbing it of all Bop.
At this point, there’s no telling who will be targeted next by the #FireGinaCarano movement. “No beep, bop or beep is safe out there,” said an anonymous ball droid through a translator.
