Still with us? Here’s what Jacen’s cousin sent us but we have formatted it for easier reading.
- The show is set 10 years after Revenge of the Sith while Obi-Wan is hiding on Tatooine. He is protecting Luke from distance and steps in to help villagers during Tusken Raider attacks.
- Everything changes when Obi-Wan meets a young girl, revealed to be a Padawan who also survived Order 66. Kenobi must get her back to her home planet where she will be safe from the Empire but it will be a dangerous task, as he must leave Luke to do so.
- Along the way he reconnects with an older Commander Cody, who has since betrayed the Empire after removing his inhibitor chip but must regain Kenobi’s trust.
- The series’ climax will feature a fight between Obi-Wan and Vader on Kamino which will be their last meeting until A New Hope.
- Vader will believe Kenobi died in the fight. Vader’s mask will be damaged which provides a glimpse of Hayden Christensen as Anakin.
- Flashbacks from The Clone Wars will also appear as Obi-Wan will have nightmares at night.
- Liam Neeson has signed on to play Qui-Gon in one episode.
- The Padawan and Cody will die, with Cody sacrificing his life on Kamino and the girl in Kenobi’s arms as he finally reunites her with her family.
- The series will end with Obi-Wan back on Tatooine, looking at a young Luke with his promise that he will lay down his life for him.
- Luke is played by a deaged Mark Hamill similar to how he appeared in The Mandalorian but on a child body double.
- Clone troopers will be played by fan armorers similar to how Stormtroopers were played by members of the 501st fan Legion in The Mandalorian. Anakin and Obi-Wan will have their armored looks from earlier seasons of The Clone Wars in the flashbacks as well.
- Planets visited in the series will be Tatooine, Kamino, Coruscant, Mustafar, a new planet with crystals and a new forest planet.
- Each episode will be about an hour long (including the credits) with 6 episodes in total.
