Luke Skywalker Reviews Elon Musk’s Episode Of SNL

It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. After picking up Grogu and departing for who-knows-where, it’s been total radio silence. Early this morning, however, FSW received a transmission from Skywalker, who was excited to share his review of the Elon Musk-hosted episode of Saturday Night Live. Below are his unedited thoughts on the controversial show.

Opening monologue

-Really enjoyed the opening “mom-alogue.” Great to see Elon and all of the SNL performers make jokes with their mothers, while Miley Cyrus wailed away about something. Had I known my mother, I think it would have been easy for her to have fun at my expense.

-Grogu and I teared up when Musk admitted to having Assburger’s Disease. Although I think that’s politically incorrect in the galaxy these days. Believe he just meant to say he is on the autism spectrum.

Post-Quarantine Conversation

-Loved the premise here. Using the inner head voice to demonstrate what people are really thinking is exactly what it feels like to talk to Obi-Wan. So I could def relate. The highlight was clearly the incest joke where a man is not quite sure whether the woman he is hitting on at a party is his cousin or not. Once he learns that she is, he still goes for it! This sketch inspired me to text Leia a naughty pic for old time’s sake. Thankfully, it all went over Grogu’s head.

Gen Z Hospital

-So heckin good! I was dedddddd so much big laughs gang gang bruh! Haha. I really enjoyed hearing how over-the-top Gen Z has taken language these days. Musk’s droid-like delivery made it extra cringey. I hope I didn’t sound like these kids when I was taken to the hospital for a bacta bath and hand replacement surgery. That would not be lit. Sheeeeesh!

Murder Durder

-Grogu was upchucking the Chef Boyardee Beefaroni I made him for dinner (note to self: do not serve w choccy milk again) so we missed this one.

Weekend Update

-This was really boring, since I’m so far removed from what’s happening on Earth. I did enjoy Elon Musk as a cryptocurrency expert though. Having to constantly explain what Dogecoin is drew big laughs over here.

The Baby Yoda guest reporter was offensively bad. I had to cover Grogu’s eyes. It’s one thing to make a grotesque mockery of his appearance, but to claim he is an MMA-loving pothead addicted to performance-enhancing drugs?! Talk about trying waaaaay too hard. Then they dragged…drumroll…Baby Groot into it. Such low-hanging fruit. I hope SNL’s writers aim higher in the future. They should call me. I’ve lived with the kid for a few months now and will admit that’s he’s a bit of a $#ick but the aggro MMA bro is not it.

Chad on Mars

-Hands down the funniest sketch of the episode for me. The way the witless Chad keeps his cool under pressure during a dire intergalactic crisis was so true to life. Reminded me so much of Dak (Rest In Power, my brother) because he was such a prankster, always losing the bottom half of his flight suit at a moment’s notice. Little known fact, Dak’s died with his beautiful legs al fresco.

-Pete Davidson struck comedy gold when he’s told that the woman he had an affair with is preggers and he immediately shuts the blast doors in her face and runs off to Mars; as a single dad (not by choice, and only temporary, thank the stars) this hit particularly close to home; raising Padawans is def not for me. I’m more of a hit it and quit it kinda dude.

Cowboy Standoff

-Kinda funny, enjoyed the dig at people who won’t wear masks

-This was Grogu’s favorite sketch…I think the Western setting really warmed his heart and brought him back to his days with Mando

Wario

-Hot mess; as a huge Wa-Luigi fan, I felt they didn’t do him justice. Musk was pretty bad in this; even a cute Grimes as Princess Peach couldn’t save it.

-Grogu also cooed that they missed an opportunity to include Ace Attorney (whoever the heck that is).

Ooli Show

-I was prepared to say this was definitely the worst sketch but they snuck another incest joke in! It’s like they knew I was watching…sent Leia another naught pic even though she left the last one on unread.

That’s all Master Skywalker had to say about Musk’s episode of Saturday Night Live. What do you think? Is he off his rocker? Do you agree or disagree with his takes. Let us know in social!
