George Lucas Refused Seth Rogen A Seat On His Spaceship And Here’s Why!
Sorry, Seth Rogen, but George Lucas is taking off without you.
According to the comedic actor, years ago he asked the creator of Star Wars whether he could ride in his spaceship to escape a Great Disaster-level cataclysmic event. Uncle George shocked everyone in attendance, including good friend Steven Spielberg, when he replied with a Death Star-size truth bomb.
“No, because you’re a smelly degenerate who enables James Franco,” said Lucas, according to verified reports. Rogen’s producing partner Evan Goldberg tried to ease the tension with some levity by saying his colleague was not as bad as death stick dealer Elan Sleazebaggano. Lucas was not amused and said, “Seth should go home and rethink his life all the same.”
“I was only kidding about wanting a seat on his ship but I don’t think he was, because, if you were joking, you would just say ‘Yes or No’… But he said, ‘No’ and proceeded to insult me and implicate me in God knows what with James. To this day, I am confounded and plagued by that story.”
You can find this as well as one other George Lucas story in Rogen’s collection of essays titled Yearbook, available wherever quality books are sold.
