Top 10 Batsith Insane Theories About The Bad Batch’s Omega

The breakout star of The Bad Batch is yet another mystery box in the vein of Baby Yoda. Naturally, the Internet is buzzing with all kinds of theories involving Omega, and some are guaranteed to make your head spin. So we’ve searched high and low to bring you the most batsith insane ones, because that’s what we do. Enjoy the quality-controlled insanity!

10. Omega is transgender but also eats at Chick-fil-A
This theory began as a joke on 9gag, then morphed into semi-serious speculation on 4chan before evolving into its final form on Reddit. Apparently, many people are convinced Omega is a clone of Jango Fett, who proceeded to have gender-reassignment surgery on Utapu. (which does sound a lot like uterus?!) Despite taking a steady diet of female hormones, Omega cannot fight some of the caveman-like instincts left over from Jango’s DNA. This theory claims Omega’s biggest weakness is a penchant for the delicious chicken from noted anti-trans chain Chick-fil-A! One Reddit-or claims you can even see the logo for the brand within the design on Omega’s headpiece. Crazy!

9. Omega will be played by Millie Bobby Brown
After demonstrating an uncanny ability to portray Mary Sue characters in Godzilla and Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown will take over the live-action role next year in the first Bad Batch film entitled “The Bad Bitch:  She’s actually perfect in every way” but will first appear the Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

8. Omega is modeled after Swedish child environmental activist Greta Thunberg
Her arc will involve moving to Kashyyyk to help stop the Galactic Dunder Mifflin Corporation from destroying the forests. Despite the desperate conditions of the Wookiees after Order 66, Omega will focus her efforts on planting trees and contacting Captain Planet. Millions of Wookiees shall perish as a direct result of Omega’s outreach.

7. Omega is the lovechild of Saw Gerrera and Lama Su, the Prime Minister of Kamino
The interspecies pair will be the first openly gay characters in the Filoni-verse to share a kiss. How the human freedom fighter and Kaminoan royalty managed to keep their romance secret will be shown via flashbacks in season two. Apparently, Su created Omega in the laboratory using a third of Jango Fett’s DNA, a third of Gerrera’s and a third of his own biological strands to create the ultimate clone lovechild.

6. Omega is a male werewolf clone
The furry community swears the young female clone is actually a gender-bending werewolf from the 2010 animated film Alpha and Omega. Both Justin Long and Hayden Pennetierre will reprise their voice acting roles once Omega reveals his true form to the Bad Batch in season two.

5. Omega is a Force sensitive clone whose inability to control her powers cost a Jedi her life
In episode one of The Bad Batch, the crew watches as two clones cart a covered body away. A feminine hand is revealed as the corpse is being moved. More importantly, a lightsaber falls out of said hand. Clearly this is a Jedi that was killed as part of Order 66, right? Not so fast, Sherlock. According to this theory, the victim was murdered by an out of control Omega. Armchair experts claim the lightsaber belongs to Rig Nema, a Jedi doctor who appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Apparently, she survived Order 66 and was working with the Kaminoans to create and train the first Force sensitive clone, but things got way out of hand. The “accident” will be revealed slowly as the Bad Batch struggle with how to deal with the blood on Omega’s hands, plus the knowledge that she could snap at any minute and kill them all with powers beyond her control.

4. Omega is Rey Skywalker’s mother
The most popular theory on this list; Omega is thought to be a strandcast destined to fall in love with a similar abnormal clone in the future. Forthcoming canon materials will explain how strandcasts have a powerful pull towards one another, and in Omega’s case, she will gravitate toward a handsome clone created by Emperor Palpatine from Luke Skywalker’s hand. A quick romance will ensue and Omega will give birth to Rey, who will be kept hidden from both Palpatine and the New Republic.

3. Omega is short for Omegadon
She will reveal her future Saiyan Great Ape-esque form in season 2 when she transforms into a giant ferocious dragon dinosaur creature. Much like the Incredible Hulk, Omega can’t control the transformation since it can occur whenever she becomes angry – usually after the Bad Batch beat her at Sabaac.

2. Omega’s favorite food is space spaghetti
A bit of a food snob, this precocious clone has very particular tastes. Omega refuses to eat anything but space spaghetti, making it very difficult for the Bad Batch to enjoy Taco Tuesdays. This actually inspires a storyline in the season one finale, where Omega and Wrecker reach a compromise and collaborate on space spaghetti chimichangas.

1. Omega is just a figment of the Bad Batch’s imaginations
This is the most uber-batsith insane theory, because it renders all of the aforementioned theories null and void. According to this line of thinking, Omega is a digital echo – a glitch purposely engineered to appear in the minds of abnormal clones. What purpose does she serve and whose ultimately controlling the life-like hallucinations… you’ll have to wait and see just like us.
