Self-proclaimed Twitter and YouTube Celeb replaces Patty Jenkins to Write, Direct, and Star in Next Star Wars Film.
After the recent news of the delay of Patty Jenkins’ Rogue Squadron film for the unforeseeable future, Cam Ray—a mostly unknown Twitter and YouTube content creator—will be taking the helm of Lucasfilm’s next Star Wars theatrical release. While this is unverified information as of now, the chances of Cam’s film making it to the big screen are just as possible as that of any of the big name writers or directors previously announced.
When asked for comment, an over-elated Cam stated:
“I have a good feeling about this! I am thrilled at the possibility of being asked by Lucasfilm to take on such a huge responsibility and will NOT let the fans down. I feel so good about my chances that I’ve already quit my job.”
Cam proceeded to confidently predict his completed Star Wars film hitting theaters by Summer of 2022, thanking the “magic of Cinematic Mode” on his new iPhone 13 Pro Max for the quicker than ever before turn around time for a blockbuster film.
