Baby Yoda Goes To The Dark Side

When he was introduced in The Mandalorian, everyone seemed to fall in love with the character referred to as Baby Yoda. Disney’s merchandising arm went into over drive getting out toys, lunch boxes, clothing, and even Baby Yoda Chicken Nuggets. Even after his name was revealed as Grogu, many still referred to him as Baby Yoda. However the cute, loveable alien now has a new name: Darth Gogurt. Say it ain’t so! Read on to find out why.

This information comes to us from Jacen’s cousin “Frank,” one of Dave Filoni’s interns at Lucasfilm. This is supposedly going to be the main conflict of The Mandalorian season 3 and if you don’t want to be spoiled, stop reading now!

Still with us? Okay here’s how it goes down. Somehow, a clone of Darth Sidious managed to track down the beloved creature and persuade him to join the dark side. Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, who was training Grogu at the time of his turning, was visibly distraught at the situation.

One of Luke’s lines in the script, in which he says to Ahsoka Tano, “This is a horrible thing. I sure hope I never lose another student to the dark side. It may push me briefly over the edge until I’m brought back to my senses and left with just shame. Is something burning?”

Details of just how the Darth Sidious clone was able to turn Grogu to the dark side are limited, but one person told “Frank” that the Darth Sidious clone has the line, “Come to the dark side, we have froggies.”

We will be checking with our other sources to verify this information.
