Harrison Ford Reveals What We Suspected All Along About His Involvement in The Book of Boba Fett

Will the scruffy looking scoundrel be returning to Star Wars? According to a “leak” found in late January by fans on the popular entertainment website IMDB.com, the answer is: yes! Fans peered into the upcoming episode cast list for Chapter 7 of The Book of Boba Fett and happened to find an interesting name among the show’s regulars. The website listed Harrison Ford as Han Solo after lead actors Temuera Morrison (Boba Fett) and Ming-Na Wen (Fennec Shand). The potential leak was up for hours, and fans took screenshots of the site and of course began speculating wildly.

The alleged leak, screen-capped by our own Crazy Uncle Luke.

The subreddit r/StarWarsLeaks was even temporarily shut down by moderators to mitigate the overload to the servers from posts about the leak.

Being a reputable site that prides itself on honest journalism, Faking Star Wars reached out to IMDB.com for an official comment asking why the famed Han Solo actor was listed and then suddenly not listed. The response was very lack-luster.

“While we actively gather information from and verify items with studios and filmmakers, the bulk of our information is submitted by people in the industry and visitors like you!”

Juan Johnson-Dominguez, IMDB customer service

What a joke! So we took matters into our own hands and went straight to the source and sent a kindly worded email to Mr. Ford’s representatives, just to see if a response would be received but what we got was indeed shocking.

Our interns here at Faking Star Wars were stunned to receive a call in our Kansas City call center from none other than Harrison Ford himself and in true Han Solo fashion, Ford shoots first and dismisses the leak as BS.

“This is all a lie! I want people to quit asking me about this nerd shit! I don’t want anything more to do with this franchise!”

Harrison Ford

The intern promptly transferred the call to me, their supervisor. When asked about his involvement with Star Wars, it seemed in his old age Ford got confused and began to discuss his role in the new Indiana Jones film which has been on hold for many months now.

“….Yeah we couldn’t keep filming because I hurt myself in a plane crash. Big whoop, I could have kept filming! I’m telling ya kid!”

Harrison Ford

The actor kept talking for some time and rambling about all sorts of things that boomers ramble about. Eventually we hung up and chalked up the whole thing as a hoax put on by Disney to get people interested in The Book of Boba Fett after it’s slow season beginnings. I mean the guy sounded more like Anthony Ingruber than Ford himself.

Speculations about the leak will come to an end when the final installment of The Book of Boba Fett is released this February 9, 2022 exclusively on Disney+.
