JJ Abrams Spotted At Chili’s Rewriting Episode IX Script
SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA — While C-3PO, BB-8, and a few other characters may have finished filming their scenes for Star Wars: Episode IX, director JJ Abrams was recently spotted near Bad Robot Productions rewriting the script to the film.
Jacen’s cousin Scotty is a waiter at the Santa Monica Chili’s and has served Mr. Abrams for several days the past month. According to Scotty, JJ has ordered nearly every item on the menu and has had a stack of red paged binders with him every time. Scott told us that JJ has been flipping through the pages with a silver Sharpie, crossing out words and adding dialog to every binder.
Scotty was able to look over JJ’s shoulder when he wasn’t paying attention and noticed it was indeed the Star Wars: Episode IX script.
Yeah I was just bringing him his custom-ordered Tex-Mex poutine when I saw it. On the first page of one of the binders it said “Star Wars: Episode IX”. I about dropped his food but I pulled it together and served him. When I brought him a refill of Dr. Pepper I was able to see a bit of dialog between Poe and C-3PO. C-3PO says something like, “The failure is likely to happen with a probability of a zillion to one.” Then Poe says, “Don’t tell me the odds.” I got HYPED!
Thanks to Scotty we got a bit of exclusive dialog, but of course, this could be something that JJ winds up changing. What do you think of this though? Let us know on Twitter and in the comments below.
