Darth Maul Upset After Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater Snub
While the release of the updated classic game ‘Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2‘ was way back in September of 2020, former playable skater, Darth Maul is finally speaking out about not being included in the game’s roster. Maul went to social media to air his frustrations but was not met with the support he thought he would have. Fans quickly began reminding the former Sith apprentice he wasn’t even in Pro Skater 1 or it’s sequel, but rather Pro Skater 3.

We tried to send a DM to Maul regarding the confusion of which Pro Skater he was included in but he deactivated his Twitter account, probably for the best considering he is running a criminal syndicate under the nose of Imperial authority. We were however able to talk with the ‘pro skater’ himself, Tony Hawk.
Hawk had this to say:
“Yeah I think he was just confused. I mean it’s an honest mistake but we couldn’t even get the rights to Spider-Man, who actually appeared in [Pro Skater 2] from [Mickey] Mouse, how in the world could we get Maul’s likeness from Disney AND Crimson Dawn?”
— Tony Hawk, pro skater
Hawk did assure that if a remake of Pro Skater 3 + 4 ever goes into development, he will try to get the likenesses of both Maul and Jango Fett, who appeared in Pro Skater 4.
“I figure speaking with Boba [Fett] will go pretty easy to get the rights to his father’s likeness, especially because it’s his own likeness too. I actually hit up a skate park on Nevarro with Boba a few years ago. Dude can skate.”
— Tony Hawk, pro skater
So what do you think of this predicament Maul put himself in? Do you think he and Jango should appear in the sequel should it happen? Which Star Wars characters do you think could do a McTwist? Let us know in the comments below and follow me on Twitter, @LinkVoximilian.
