“The Book of Boba Fett” To Be Exclusively Released As Audio Book
Lucasfilm has been known to push the boundary on visual effects, but even these technical geniuses weren’t able to figure out the complex effects called for in the script for The Book of Boba Fett. Therefore, Dave Filoni has decided that it will be released as an audio book only.
Often new techniques have to be invented in order to create the world of Star Wars that we see on both TV and in the films. An example of this is the creation of the Volume, a massive new form of sound stage created for The Mandalorian and now used by the entire industry. This time the effects within the audio book format of The Book of Boba Fett will be so good, you won’t even have to use your eyes but rather you will be able to see all the visualizations perfectly in your mind’s eye.
“By releasing as an audio book, we’re able to simply describe what we’re trying to create. It makes it much easier on the visual effects artists. Wardrobe and makeup are able to do their parts a lot easier as well.”

When asked how the hearing impaired will be able to enjoy it, Filoni stated, “I guess we’ll have to make a braille version.”
The Book of Boba Fett will also be the flagship title on the upcoming Disney- streaming service, it’s like Disney+ but no video, only audio.
