‘Kenobi’ Series To Take Place AFTER ‘The Book of Boba Fett’
While currently we are watching The Book of Boba Fett, later this year the Obi-Wan Kenobi series will air. We at Faking Star Wars have learned that not only is it taking place after The Book of Boba Fett on the programing schedule, but also after on the canonical Star Wars timeline. Read on to find out how and why.
Many questions arose because at this point canonically, Obi-Wan is (spoiler) dead. However, Disney has indicated that they have worked out the story line to allow for a dead Obi-Wan to be the star of the show.
According to a plot leak that was sent to us via Twitter DM, Obi-Wan’s Force ghost is wandering around an amusement park on Tatooine. The ghost of Ben is looking for younglings that are strong in the Force to send to Luke Skywalker for training. Unfortunately, a Force ghost saying, “Hello there!” doesn’t exactly have a calming affect on the younglings, and causes the amusement park to lose attendance.
At this point we will be introduced to new characters traveling in a beat up cargo ship with a dog-shaped droid named SC0-0B. This group, revealed to be paranormal investigators are brought in to find out what’s going on with the haunting at the park.
Disney has promised a surprise twist that it’s not really Obi-Wan’s Force ghost, but Old Man Darklighter who, still upset over his son’s death at the first Death Star, is trying to discredit the names of Obi-Wan and Luke Skywalker. A leaked scene shows him saying, “I would have gotten away with it if it weren’t for those dank farrik kids, and their droid dog!”
