Breaking! Oscar Isaac Portrays Multiple Characters in Star Wars: The Force Awakens!
We just received an email from a group called “Beard Watch.” Beard Watch looks out for stories where it appears actors will be showing off a beard in a movie. Someone, besides Master Luke will sporting a beard and, boy, is it a doozy! Light is shined on Oscar Isaac’s roles, yes that’s plural, in The Force Awakens, thanks to our contact at Beard Watch!
It may have appeared as though Oscar would only be portraying X-wing pilot, Poe Dameron, as seen in the first teaser trailer. As it turns out, Isaac will be portraying three other characters in addition to Poe, coming in at a grand total of four characters! These are words from Isaac’s mouth, we are not making this up!
Oscar Isaac, “I play my own dad… [and] I’m playing twins… [Poe’s dad has] a beard, [Poe’s twin has] just a mustache… I’m [also] an alien of some sort.”
To clarify, we spoke with another source to make sure this was right. According to them, along with Poe Dameron, Isaac will be portraying Poe’s twin brother Allan Dameron, their father Edgar Dameron, and an alien bartender called Bruher! It seems Oscar is a man of many faces!
We then asked our source about what role Oscar’s uncle has managed to snag but there is still no word on that.
