COUNTY CORK, IRELAND — Filming for Star Wars Episode VIII in the area has officially begun earlier this afternoon. Benicio Del Toro has been spotted near the one of the tents set up on location, while Adam Driver and Andy Serkis are rumored to be present as well. Also spotted was former child star Barret Oliver who apparently has been cast in the upcoming sequel.

While we’re unsure of what role Oliver will be playing in Episode VIII, one of our sources was able to snap a photo of him on set. Oliver appears to have a Jedi like appearance, sporting a long beard and some type of tan robe-like garment. The “Space Horse” seen in Dubrovnik has also been spotted in Country Cork, and one of Jacen’s Irish cousins was able to obtain a better photo of that as well. This may indicate that John Boyega and Daisy Ridley will also be filming a scene at this time. Due to Mark Hamill’s recent injury off-set, scenes without the Jedi master Luke Skywalker will be filmed first. Stay tuned for more fake Episode VIII news from Ireland!
