TFA Cast Members To Star In Cool Runnings Remake
LOS ANGELES, CA — Star Wars: The Force Awakens cast members Greg Grunberg and John Boyega have been officially announced as part of the Cool Runnings remake cast!
A Disney representative has gone on record to announce the following:
Grunberg will be playing the role of Irv previously portrayed by John Candy in the 1993 version. Although some slight alterations were made to the character backstory, Irv will still be responsible for assembling and getting the team to the Olympics. After losing his chain of burger restaurants he’s got nothing to lose except his pride…and maybe that spandex suit. John Boyega will take over the role of Yul Brenner. 100% brawn and a heart of gold any Olympian would envy. Cast along side our Star Wars heroes are Lebron James as Derice Bannok, Michael B. Jordan as Sanka Coffie and Common as Junior Bevil.
We here at FSW are very excited as the original film is a regular non-Star Wars DVD in our rotation for movie nights in our Atlanta office.
