Episode VIII’s Shocking Twist Revealed!

A weird beginning that mirrors Episode VII
The opening shot of Episode VIII is the same as the closing shot of The Force Awakens. There will be no opening crawl. Director Rian Johnson is wasting 0.00000000 parsecs in getting us to a “weird” place.

The second shot of the film is just as weird as the first
The very next shot of Episode VIII is the last time we ever see Rey alive. Luke takes his old lightsaber from her hands and plunges it into the newly awakened Jedi’s chest, mirroring the Han Solo/Kylo Ren scene from The Force Awakens.
Mum’s still the word regarding Luke Skywalker
The rest of the film involves the hunt for Skywalker. During the finale, Finn manages to track down the last Jedi, and just as they’re about to battle, the film ends. Go figure, another cliffhanger!
