Florida Man Legally Changes Name to Lando Calrissian

ST PETERSBURG, FL — After viewing the first trailer for the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story, St. Petersburg native David Graham began the process to legally change his name to Lando Calrissian. After weeks of waiting and ordering a new social security card and driver’s license, then appearing before a judge, David Graham is now legally named Lando Calrissian.

We spoke with Graham/Calrissian to understand why he changed his name and the 32 year-old IT support analyst had this to say:

“Well, the ladies love Lando and after seeing such a huge response from women on Twitter when Donald Glover first appeared in the Solo trailer it was a no-brainer. Chicks didn’t dig Glover when he was a nerd in Community it was just when he became Lando. Now I’m Lando! See, it says it on my driver’s license! I’m super stoked that it became official before the the movie will come out.”

Calrissian went on to tell us he updated his Tinder profile with his new name and is anxiously awaiting his first “swipe right.” Good luck Lando! You’re gonna need it!
